Remington Model 1891 Rolling Block Pistol, #433 on left side of the grip frame, .22 short cal., 8'' round barrel, no finish, walnut one-piece grip and forend, dovetailed German silver blade front sight, and fixed rear sight with ''V''-notched groove. Matching assembly numbers ''816'' located on left side of the grip straps. Matching serial number on left side of upper grip frame and inside the grip. ''41'' stamped on inside of the forend. Barrel address reads from the breech to the muzzle ''REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y.'' Left side of the frame is marked in two-lines with makers information and ''April 17th 1866'' last patent date. Pistol is in fair overall condition, displaying an un-cleaned gray/brown patina, with hints of blued and case colored finish, light to moderate pitting scattered throughout. Grip and forend are both in very good condition, showing scattered moderate dents and scratches. Action is strong. Bore is fair with visible rifling and scattered light erosion. Est.: $500-$600.
